The Seaworld
Explorer is a
cruising, underwater observatory and
guided marine tour. Renowned throughout the
Caribbean as a popular tourist adventure, this
semi-submarine provides a unique opportunity
for everyone-not just divers and snorkelers-to
experience the wonders of life under the waves.
The Seaworld Explorer was originally designed
and manufactured in Australia for research use on
the Great Barrier Reef. The vessel remains above
sea level at all times while its hull, the
underwater observatory, is five feet
below the surface.
Seaworld Explorer Bahamas has been around for over 15 years operating tours over the spectacular reefs of the Athol Island. Our crew is very expeirenced and enjoys sharing their knowledge with everyone that comes onboard. Their knowledge extends beyond as well being local Bahamians they know all the secrets of the islands so ask away !
We are located directly down town by the Port Authority. We pick up right from the water taxi area opposite Starbucks and the Straw market just mere feet from where the cruise ships dock. A great location to start you day and then continue shopping afterwards and or grab some local food for lunch !
